  Hey everyone. I rarely if ever use the forums, but I believe I have a golden idea that every battlefield veteran will agree with. (Hopefully I am posting in the right place and whatnot, I am on my phone and its 6 am I am tired) Who agrees and would like to start a petition or something for Dice to give us a Battlefield 2 Modern Combat classic map pack. The 2 must-haves in it are BridgeTooFar and Russian Border. Other ideas include Backstab, Deadly Pass, Honor, Black Gold, Coldfront, Damage, Frost Bite, and Missile Crisis. There are a few others I left out that I don't care for really. But guys, Bridge Too Far??? Who else has spent thousands of hours of their life playing CTF on that map? I can't be the only one, I played that game non-stop as it was one of the best games of all time. Russian Border; what a perfect awesome map! Both desert maps Deadly Pass and Backstab were EXCELLENT. This would add thousands of hours of more playability, and hell, could even lure some people who gave up on BF to come back. Regardless, there are some AWESOME EXCELLENT SPECTACULAR GREAT maps in these maps from BF2MC that would be just as great now as they were then. They already have the templates of the maps somewhere, all they have to do is snazz them up a tad and they'd be done. All my BF2MC VETS STAND UP! Is it possible to actually make this idea happen? Hope so !

  They aren't making another map pack. BF4 is about to become a legacy product. They'll support it minimally for those of us that still want to play, but the focus of development activity is on BF1 and possibly other projects that they aren't telling us about. This is how business works.

  I am 100% confident they will not.
  All developers are on BF1 now. Nothing more will ever be added to BF4. And frankly, I could care less.

  I would have liked to have seen a remake of 'BlackGold' It would have been the perfect Naval Strike map imo

  Such a negative cold attitude on responses on here. Lighten up a bit. With the new interfAce just added recently to BF4 it even says 2016 on the bottom of the screen. You act like they are just gonna be blowing bf4 off once bf1 comes out. They obviously are NOT blowing off BF4 as they specifically made the interface for us to be able to switch between bf4 and bf1 easily. Why do this if it's just gonna be a game forgotten and left in the dust? It's not, so for people saying bf4 will never have any more maps released, to you I say stop being such a 'negative Nancy'.

  Development on bf4 has stopped that is why he is confident that they will not add more content i just wish they would finish teh jobs teh started tbh, spawning into a building in dawn breaker is bloody stupid.

  It's not a negative attitude. It's just the reality that 1) DICE has said officially that development on BF4 has been stopped and 2) even if they hadn't said anything, this is a 3 year old game with the new franchise entry just a few weeks away from release.
  Honestly, it's common sense.
  The more important question, for those of us that aren't all that interested in WW1, is when will the next modern shooter Battlefield game come out? Will next autumn be Battlefront 2 or Battlefield 5?

  I have hardly played MC as i just bought it along with BF1, and in the few matches I have played, this pack would have been awesome.
